You need to invest in your staff by building them up with praise, with powerful tools, making them the number one priority while sharing the critical and fundamental piece being that they also want a great quality product and a positive experience. Staffers need to be involved and understand that their better than average earning comes directly from the consumers who are willing to drive further and pay more, thus sharing their wallets in an exchange for an exceeded guest experience. It’s about involving them, asking for their input in ways where we collectively deliver a superior product and partner with them so that they are excited about coming to work and then going home and sharing their experience, while looking forward to the drive back to the workplace the next day. It is all about reward and fun and that should be celebrated on a regular basis, which creates this environment.
